Who uses Auxfeed

Engineers monitor on phones because the phone is what listeners actually use. Auxfeed makes that step take 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes.

Mixing engineers

Walk away from the speakers and check your mix in the kitchen, in the car, on AirPods. No bouncing, no AirDrop, no exporting stems. Just open the app and the mix comes through.

Mastering engineers

Monitor a client session on phone-grade speakers without leaving the chair. Hear what 80% of the audience will hear before you commit to a master.

Producers

Demo a beat for a vocalist on AirPods while you keep working in Logic Pro. They hear the playback, you keep editing — no DM, no screen-share, no reset.

Podcasters & voice actors

Hear yourself the way listeners will. Monitor on a Bluetooth speaker, AirPods, or a $20 earbud and catch tone problems your studio monitors lie about.

FOH & broadcast engineers

Stream the FOH mix to a phone for the artist, the producer in the green room, or the director three rooms away. Wi-Fi, no extra hardware, free.

Listening is free. Sharing is Pro.

Common questions

Is Auxfeed really free?
Yes. The DAW plugin and the receiver app are free to download and use forever, with no account, no trial, and no time limit. Auxfeed Pro is an optional subscription for advanced metering and remote streaming.
How does Auxfeed work?
You install the Auxfeed plugin (AU, VST3, or AAX) on the master bus of your DAW. The plugin transmits audio over Wi-Fi or via our relay server. Open the Auxfeed app on your phone, tap your DAW in the list, and you hear the mix in real time.
Which DAWs does it work with?
Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, REAPER, Cubase, Nuendo, Studio One, Bitwig Studio, FL Studio, Cakewalk, and any other DAW that supports AU, VST3, or AAX plugin formats.
What's the latency?
On local Wi-Fi with PCM or Opus, latency is typically 20–100 ms depending on your buffer size and Wi-Fi quality. AAC adds about 80 ms of additional codec latency in exchange for the lowest CPU usage on Apple silicon.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Local Wi-Fi monitoring requires no account, no login, and no email. You only create an account if you subscribe to Auxfeed Pro, and that account lives in Apple App Store or Google Play, not on our servers.
Is my audio private?
On local Wi-Fi, audio never leaves your network — it goes straight from your computer to your phone. With Pro relay streaming, audio is end-to-end encrypted and forwarded by our relay servers without being recorded or stored.
How is Auxfeed different from Audiomovers LISTENTO?
LISTENTO charges \$99–\$200 per year. Auxfeed local Wi-Fi monitoring is free forever. For internet streaming, Auxfeed Pro is \$9.99/month or \$79.99/year — about 20% less than LISTENTO and includes pro metering tools that LISTENTO does not.
