FL Studio producers on macOS and Windows want to hear their master mix on their phone as it plays — not an MP3 export sent to themselves, not a simulation. Here's how to insert Auxfeed on FL Studio's Mixer master track and start streaming to your phone in under 60 seconds.

What You Need

  • FL Studio 20 or later on macOS or Windows (any edition — Fruity, Producer, Signature, All Plugins)
  • Auxfeed VST3 plugin installed (auxfeed.com — VST3/AAX on both platforms)
  • Auxfeed app on your iPhone or Android phone, connected to the same Wi-Fi

Steps

1. Download and Install the Plugin

Go to auxfeed.com and download the Auxfeed VST3 installer for your platform — macOS or Windows. Run it, then relaunch FL Studio. To verify FL Studio detected it, go to Options > Manage plugins, click Find plugins, and confirm Auxfeed appears in the results.

2. Open the Mixer and Insert Auxfeed on the Master Track

Open the Mixer (F9). The master track is Insert 1, labeled "Master" at the far left of the Mixer. Click the master track to select it. On the right side you'll see the Effects panel — click any empty effect slot. In the plugin picker that opens, search for "Auxfeed" or browse to it under your VST3 plugins. Click it to insert. The Auxfeed plugin window opens.

3. Configure the Plugin

In the Auxfeed window, choose your codec. PCM Lossless gives you the full uncompressed signal — the best option when your phone is nearby. Opus compresses efficiently and still sounds excellent across the room. On iPhone, AAC is available as a third option. Leave the PIN field blank for open access on your Wi-Fi.

4. Open the Auxfeed App

Launch the Auxfeed app on your phone. It auto-discovers the plugin using Bonjour — your FL Studio session shows up in the app within seconds. Tap to connect. No manual setup, no IP addresses.

5. Press Play in FL Studio

Hit play in FL Studio. Audio from the Mixer master streams to your phone immediately. Walk around, listen on your phone speaker, plug in earbuds, or route to a Bluetooth device. The Auxfeed app displays real-time LUFS metering as you listen.

FL Studio Tip: Check Your Master Level Before You Listen

FL Studio's Mixer master can clip if tracks are routed with gain staging issues upstream — and Auxfeed will stream exactly what it receives, clipping and all. Before you start monitoring, glance at the master track's level meter in the Mixer. If it's hitting red, pull down the master volume knob or address gain staging on individual tracks before evaluating the mix on the phone. What you hear through Auxfeed is the truth — that's the point.
